Caboolture Engineering is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our small, friendly team.
🔧 About the Role:
You will operate manual lathes, turning and milling machines. Work varies day to day — no mass production.
📍 Location: Caboolture
🕒 Position: Full-time
✅ Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Recognised Australian trade qualification
Minimum 2–3 years machining experience
Extensive experience in turning, milling and fitting
Proficient in manual machining
Ability to interpret engineering drawings & specifications
Experience operating:
Lathes from 400 swing x 1.5m centres up to 1100mm swing x 5m centres
Milling machines from turret mills to 6m bed mill
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Own hand tools suitable for fitting and machining
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Welding skills highly regarded
Driver’s licence & own transport essential
Australian work authorisation required
