🎉 Today marks 12 months in business! 🎉
What an incredible journey this first year has been.
Looking back over the past 12 months, it's hard to believe how much we've achieved. Like any new business, there have been plenty of challenges along the way. We've rearranged the store more times than we can count, expanded our range based on your feedback and requests, and worked hard to make Burra Hardware the store our community deserves.
We've also faced challenges beyond our control. Global events—including the conflict involving Iran and the resulting impacts on international supply chains and freight—have affected product availability and pricing across the hardware industry. Through it all, we've remained committed to keeping our shelves stocked and providing the best service we can.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our customers, family, friends, suppliers, and the wider Burra community. Every purchase, recommendation, kind word, like, share, and visit through our doors has helped us reach this milestone, and we are truly grateful.
One of the things we're most proud of is being able to give back to the community that has supported us. Over the past year we've been privileged to sponsor and support the Burra to Burra Burra Yacht Club, Burra Christmas Fair, Burra Community School, and Burra Golf Club. Supporting local events and organisations is something we are passionate about, and we look forward to continuing to do so.
Most importantly, thank you for your feedback. Every suggestion about a product you'd like us to stock, every conversation in the aisles, and every recommendation has helped shape the business into what it is today. We are always listening, always learning, and always looking for ways to better serve our community.
