How to properly wash your 4WD after a beach trip! 🌊🚙
Salt and sand can do some serious damage if they’re left sitting in all those hard-to-reach areas.
Here’s my wash routine using the Salt Shift Ultimate Off Road Wash Kit. 👇
1️⃣ Underbody Blaster: Flush out salt, sand and grime from underneath.
2️⃣ Pre-Wash: Foam up the entire 4WD with Salt Shift 4x4 Salt Wash.
3️⃣ Engine Bay: Give the engine bay a careful clean.
4️⃣ Rinse: Thoroughly rinse everything down, including behind the bumpers and suspension.
5️⃣ Contact Wash: Foam up again and use a wash mitt for a proper clean.
6️⃣ Chassis Flusher: Flush out trapped salt, sand and mud from inside the chassis rails.
7️⃣ Dry: Finish with a microfibre towel to prevent water spots.
Around 60 minutes later, the 4WD is clean and ready for the next adventure!
The key is getting into those areas you can’t see, where salt and sand build up and can eventually lead to corrosion.
