As of January 2023, ownership of the mechanical side of Mechweld Industries Qld will transition over to our Workshop Manager, Alan Schneekloth.

Alan will be trading as ATB Mechanical Pty Ltd, and will also become the Scania repair and warranty agent for the Bundaberg region.

We would like to thank all our valued customers for their business and support over the years and wish Alan all the best in his future business endeavours.

An opportunity exists for an individual with prior admin experience to join our busy Bundaberg office undertaking administration duties.

The individual must be organised, reliable and be able to work autonomously without supervision to meet deadlines. Previous experience of MS Office and Reckon Accounting Software would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities-

*General office duties

*Data entry

*Accounts receivable/ payable

*Warranty submissions

*Payroll

*HR on-boarding of employees

*Communication with clients and suppliers in a clear and professional manner.

*General upkeep of office and staff areas

Training will be provided upon systems specific to the role.

This position is an immediate start with hours to be negotiated.

Due to an expanding client base, we are seeking several qualified DIESEL MECHANICS to join our team at MechWeld Industries QLD - the Wide Bay Burnett’s authorised Scania warranty/repair agent.

Full time positions available and also casual positions for those only wanting to do a couple of days a week or looking for extra work on rostered days off. Work hours can be flexible.

About the Job

You will be required to perform a multitude of tasks involving:

• Assisting Tradesmen with various workshop tasks and carry out basic servicing
• General workshop labouring
• General cleaning
• Picking up and delivery of parts and supplies when required

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Mechanical knowledge and Interest
• Driver’s licence is essential
• Forklift license favourable but not essential
• Must be enthusiastic and driven
