🏔️ TERRY’S OFF TO CLIMB EVEREST… SORT OF! 🇨🇦✈️

Today, our very own Terry is swapping The Bolt Place Bundaberg for a Qantas flight to Canada, where he’ll take on 29029 Everesting at Whistler starting Friday, 28 August.

And this definitely isn’t your average Canadian holiday… 😂

The challenge?

🥾 6.3 km hike up the mountain
🚡 Gondola back down
🔁 Repeat 8 times!

Each climb gains around 1,190 metres of elevation, meaning Terry will tackle roughly 50 km of uphill hiking and climb a total of 8,848 metres — the equivalent height of Mount Everest — all within 36 hours. 😳

Complete all 8 ascents and he’ll earn the coveted 29029 RED CAP. 🔴🏔️

There have been plenty of kilometres, thousands of metres of climbing and more hours on an incline treadmill than any sane person would voluntarily choose… 😂

Now there’s only one thing left to do:

HIKE UP. GONDOLA DOWN. REPEAT.

Go get that RED CAP, Terry! 🔴💪

We look forward to seeing him back at The Bolt Place on 3 September — hopefully still able to walk 😂 — and hearing all about the adventure!
