To be successful with your application you will bring to the position;

Demonstrated industrial sales experience

Mechanical aptitude and experience that supports your involvement when dealing with Sales, Workshop and Site Services opportunities

Strong time management, planning and organisational skills to enable effective self-management in supporting existing customer accounts and designated sales regions

Excellent communication skills to build relationships within a broad customer base

Effective office and computer skills to produce accurate and timely reporting to management on market and sales activities

Capable of working independently to achieve sales targets and budget objectives

Linmac Bearing Equipment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Shutdown Supervisor for regular ongoing shutdown work in the Southwest. We are well-established company providing shutdown support in the local region. Our focus is centered on Safety, Quality, Customer relations and equal opportunity.
Shutdowns range from 3 to 5 days every second week based on 11 hour day and night shifts and 2 hours travel. There are also other site shutdown opportunities on a semi regular basis.
NOTE – The position available is based on daily drive in – drive out from Bunbury only with travel time paid for along with the use of a company vehicle for transport to and from site each shift.
While the position advertised is a casual engagement, a permanent fulltime opportunity exists for the right person.
You will have the relevant experience to Supervise a team of mechanical & trades assistant personnel, plan and execute work to achieve scheduled outcomes in a safe & professional manner that aligns to the requirements of the company and client policies and procedures.
Your experience and qualifications will include;
• Knowledge of Warman pumps, Conveyors, Crushers and associated equipment used in a hard rock process mining or mineral sands environments

• Have obtained competency in, or able to complete (mandatory requirement)
o BSBWHS411 – Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs.
o BSBWH414 – Contribute to WHS risk management

• Relevant mechanical trade certificate

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Complete applicable medical and D&A requirements

The following experience and high-risk tickets would be highly desirable.
# Knowledge of Warman pumps, Conveyors & Crushers
# Working at heights (within 2 years)

# Rigging
# Current first aid certificate.
# Forklift ticket
You must be physically fit and able to work in a physically demanding environment and be prepared to work day & night shifts on a rotational basis.
