With proven experience leading safety across large-scale companies and projects, Jeya approaches his HSE Manager role at OFI with one clear objective: everyone goes home safe at the end of the day. Always.

This includes ensuring compliance with both company and national standards, as well as the continuous improvement of current HSE systems.

We are pleased to announce the award of several projects utilising our end-to-end electrical capabilities.

Project 1: electrical design, supply and installation of a tier 1 utilities operator’s site upgrade.

Leveraging our strong competency and in-depth site expertise, the scope involves the decommissioning of existing infrastructure and the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new MCC on site in the Goldfields region.

Project 2: containerised switchroom supply and manufacture for a critical infrastructure upgrade in the Wheatbelt.

As an improvement on the existing facility's site power supply, our team will deliver the HV upgrade, increasing the outload capacity.

OFI teammate spotlight: Cobey Mills, our Pre-Contracts Manager.

With a remit covering business development, estimating, marketing strategies and pre-award contract negotiations, Cobey has a knack for building driven, self-motivated yet highly collaborative teams. And as our key development person, he has a keen eye for market trends in our sectors too - crucial for maintaining and growing OFI’s work pipeline.

An electrical contracting professional for more than 25 years, Cobey started his career as an apprentice before working up to electrician, estimator, estimating manager, project manager, operations manager and, finally, pre-contracts manager.

When he’s not working, Cobey coaches his kids' AFL and basketball team and spends plenty of time adventuring outdoors.

To Cobey, OFI is: on a strong growth trajectory, future-focused and exciting in its continuous evolution.

We’re proud to mark the completion of stacker project for Shark Bay Resources.

This full-scope package, spanning design, supply, fabrication and installation was delivered through strong collaboration across the NRW Holdings group.

🔹OFI delivered the electrical and control systems construction on site
🔹RCR Mining Technologies completed off-site stacker construction at their Bunbury facility
🔹DIAB Engineering led on-site construction works

Working as one team enabled better coordination, faster problem-solving and more efficient use of shared resources – a clear example of the value of integrated group capability.
