At East West Engineering, it’s our people who make the difference. We’re proud to have a team who are willing to step up, help each other out and do what it takes to get the job done for our customers.

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Daniel Moulsdale, our Industrial Painter.

Danny joined the EWE team in January and, with his friendly smile and personable nature, it didn’t take long for him to become part of the team.

Working autonomously in our paint bay, Danny consistently goes above and beyond to get his work done and is always happy to lend a hand where needed. He’s also quick to move from Painting into Assembly when required, making the most of his time and helping minimise downtime.

In a busy manufacturing environment, where the flow and priorities of jobs can change throughout the day, that kind of flexibility and work ethic is invaluable. Having people who are willing to step in, learn different areas and support their teammates helps us keep jobs moving and get products out the door on time for our customers.

It’s this versatility, teamwork and commitment across our staff that makes EWE such a great place to work and helps us deliver for our customers.

And there’s an extra reason for celebration. Earlier this month, Danny and his partner welcomed their first child, Mato. 👶

One of the special moments from this year’s Gatton Show. 🤎

This is a grandmother holding the wooden disc her 12-year-old grandson cut during his very first Single Hand Saw event.

The disc is a piece of the log he cut through, a keepsake he and his family can take home and remember for years to come. Many competitors record their time on the disc, creating a lasting memory of their achievement.

As a sponsor of the event, the log was marked with the East West Engineering brand. Seeing our brand become a small part of a keepsake this family will treasure was something we were incredibly proud to be part of.

Watching the competitors take on the Single Hand Saw event was incredible. The strength, skill and dedication required were clear to see.

I for one know just how difficult it can be to saw through even a small branch! To be fair, I was using a much smaller hand saw… but watching these competitors cut through a log of that size using a single hand saw really puts their skill and effort into perspective, and makes my own efforts look pretty pathetic by comparison! 💪🪵

Congratulations to all the competitors, the Gatton Show organisers and the local community on a fantastic event. We were proud to support it. 👏
