Kirsty Duncan spent over 20 years in advertising and marketing before she went back to what she loved: design you can walk into.

She retrained, fell for the hardest room in the house, and built Bearcanvas Interiors around it. Bathrooms are her favourite work for exactly the reason most people dread them: so many trades in one small space, all needing to come together perfectly. Her work has won at the KBDi Designer Awards and the QLD IDA awards.

This Saturday she's at The Build and Design Centre with Bathroom Renovation: one free hour on planning it right, where the challenges hide, where to invest, and the mistakes that catch renovators out.

Jack runs a Brisbane electrical and solar company that designs, installs and fine-tunes the systems this session is about: solar, batteries, energy monitoring, EV charging and the everyday electrical decisions that decide what your home costs to run. He's not presenting theory; this is what his team does in South East Queensland homes every week.

Tomorrow he's at The Build and Design Centre for Efficient Home Energy: one free hour on what's driving your power bill, where energy is being wasted, and the changes that actually bring it down, from quick fixes to the smart choices in a build or reno.
