JOB ADVERTISEMENT FOR A FACTORY WORKER – Automotive Accessory & Trim Fitter

Bradley Industries QLD is a composite manufacturer located in Brendale, Queensland. We are a family owned business, with over 40 years experience in the industry. We specialize in design and manufacture of sleeper cabs for major trucking companies all over Australia, but we also manufacture products from as small as the palm of your hand up to industrial cool rooms and many other products of various shapes and sizes.
We are seeking an experienced automotive accessory / trim fitter to join our dynamic team.

Your role will include:
• Interior and exterior fit out of truck sleeper cabins
• Fitting of LED lights, radios, dual battery systems and inverters
• Installation of 12v and 24v electrical accessories
• Correctly use air and power tools to achieve production outcomes
• Correctly use machinery, templates and jigs to achieve production outcomes
• Be able to work well within a fast paced environment
• Be flexible within work roles
• Perform basic administrative tasks relating to QA and job requirements

Skills required:
• Have experience in caravan, motor home, coach and motor body building
• Trim fitting experience
• Experience with installation of 12v and 24v electrical accessories and modifications
• Demonstrate excellent hand tool skills
• Have a strong eye for detail with a focus on accuracy and quality first time
• Communicate and work well within a team environment and have ability to follow direction
• Possess a strong understanding of OH&S practises
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards your job and be committed to producing the best work possible
• Be reliable, trustworthy and hard working
Renumeration based on skills and experience (Negotiable)
38 hour week with opportunities for overtime when available

• Preparing and spray-painting sleeper cabs.
• Perform basic administrative tasks relating to QA and job requirements
• Correctly use air and power tools to achieve production outcomes
• Assist with upkeep of paint workshop area
• Perform all other tasks as required by management
• Adhere to the company’s HR policies and procedures

NOW HIRING - We are seeking an experienced Fiberglass Laminator/ Chopper Gun Operator to join our team. Applicants MUST HAVE a minimum of 3 years experience in this field.

Your role will included:
- Onsite laboring and assisting in the manufacture of many different Fiberglass componentry.
- Perform basic administrative tasks relating to QA and job requirements.
- Correctly use machinery, templates and jigs to achieve production outcomes.
Skills required:
- Have experience in Fiberglass production techniques including but not limited to Gel Coating, Laminating, Grinding, Mould Maintenance and Mould Fabrication/Construction.
- Possess a strong understanding of OH&S practices.
- Be reliable, trustworthy, punctual and hard working.
