From our workshop floor straight to a multi-disciplinary handover. 🛠️

This before-and-after highlights what happens when local manufacturing meets integrated site installation. Because we build and pre-assemble complex architectural elements in our own facility, the details are completely resolved before the team ever sets foot on site.

Whilst the joinery package was a core part of our scope here, the project footprint required a much broader range of works. Our crew also delivered the commercial flooring, specialised entry matting, wayfinding and tactiles, and external civil landscapes for the asset.

One contractor handling both the workshop precision and the multi-scope site ex*****on. That is how you keep tight project programs moving forward on time.

A well-resolved entry point does a lot more than catch dirt.

That is why entry matting matters on commercial projects. If the system is underspecified, the wear moves straight onto the internal floor finish and the client carries that issue every day after handover.

StepRight® Entrance Matting is built to deal with that.

Custom manufactured to suit the entry, StepRight® can be installed into a recess or surface mounted onto the existing substrate. The system is made from heavy-duty anodised aluminium, is UV stable and stain resistant, suitable for wet and dry areas, and uses R12-rated safety inserts in accordance with AS4586.

A practical threshold solution that helps keep internal floors cleaner, safer and easier to maintain.

On a project like 85 Spring Street, the fitout only feels seamless when the scope is being delivered with real control from one end to the other.

CTA Group delivered a broader package across the site, bringing together feature joinery, flooring, entry matting, tactiles, wayfinding and secure bike storage under the one project.

The joinery was a major part of that story. The curved seating and sculptural reception desk needed to look sharp, fit properly and hold the design intent all the way from manufacture to install. That kind of work asks for precision, especially when the forms are doing so much of the visual heavy lifting in the space.

The wider supporting elements were just as important. From the arrival sequence through to the internal experience, each piece had to work with the next so the building felt clean, practical and well resolved as a whole.

That is the advantage of a broader delivery structure. More alignment, less coordination friction and a much stronger handover at the end.

A great result by the CTA Group team. 👏

The boundary around an active construction site needs to do more than simply separate people from active works.

At the New Melton Hospital, CTA Group is proud to be working with Lendlease to deliver an engineered commercial hoarding package around the works.

The structure was engineered and rated for wind speeds of up to 120 km/h, with ground conditions, footing design, structural loads and the full system configuration all considered before installation could begin.

Critical locations also incorporated CTA Group’s patented Ezyhoard above-ground hoarding system.

Ezyhoard gives the builder the ability to move and reconfigure sections of the perimeter as access points, staging areas and work zones change throughout the build. Rather than treating every adjustment as a completely new installation, the system can adapt with the site.

Gate locations, pedestrian interfaces, deliveries, signage, vehicle movement, wind loading and project staging all need to work together before the first panel goes up.

That is the value of a properly engineered hoarding package: a perimeter built to support the site now, with the flexibility to keep supporting it as the project evolves. 🏗️

A tactile system has to make sense in the finished environment, not just on a product schedule.

At CTA Group, our tactile indicator capability covers the detail behind the install: understanding whether warning or directional tactiles are required, reviewing the surrounding surface and luminance contrast, selecting a system that suits the traffic and substrate, then installing it around the realities of the project programme.

That may mean discreet stainless-steel SureSteel® tactile indicators in a premium commercial finish, a surface-mounted PolyPad® system where excavation is not practical, RhinoTac® Fibre Reinforced Polymer plates in demanding external areas, or tactile plates where a fast, controlled installation is required.

The right choice depends on the access path, hazard, site conditions and how the project needs to move through to handover.

CTA Group supports tactile indicator projects across commercial, civil, rail, healthcare, education and public infrastructure, with consultation, testing, supply and installation all connected under one scope.

Good joinery solutions, for us is about how every element works together once the project reaches site: cabinetry meeting flooring, benchtops sitting cleanly against walls, reception desks landing accurately within the wider fitout, and custom details being manufactured with the installation sequence already considered.

CTA Group delivers joinery across commercial offices, shopfitting, architectural projects, apartment developments, kitchens and residential interiors.

With manufacturing handled through our Melbourne production facility, the team can maintain stronger control over materials, fabrication, detailing and finish before installation begins.

That gives builders and project teams a more connected path from manufacture through to site delivery, particularly where the scope includes custom forms, complex cabinetry, feature finishes or tight interfaces with surrounding trades.

It is detailed work, and it deserves the same planning and coordination as every other major project scope.

This month we’re celebrating Jarrod G from our Metalworks team 🎉

One birthday. One legend. And more than enough reason to turn the celebration levels up for July.

Jarrod, we hope the month is full of good times, good food, a few well-earned treats and a birthday celebration that gets the attention it deserves. Happy birthday from everyone at CTA Group.

Rail infrastructure upgrades are all about experience, precision and the ability to consistently deliver within extremely tight possession windows.

CTA Group’s rail installation crews are among the largest and most experienced in the country, delivering tactile indicator upgrades across station after station, day in and day out. That level of repetition and exposure creates a highly refined installation process and a team that understands exactly what is required to operate safely and efficiently within live rail environments.

This recent platform upgrade involved the installation of CTA’s proven Austact® tactile system across an active transport asset, delivering a fully AS1428.4-compliant guidance path designed to withstand the harsh demands of public infrastructure.

Importantly, the products used throughout the project are not experimental or short-term solutions. CTA’s tactile systems have been installed across Australian rail networks for more than 20 years and continue to demonstrate exceptional long-term durability, UV stability and colour retention. The tactile properties remain consistent throughout the life of the installation, which is typically in excess of 10 years in rail applications.

In rail infrastructure, proven performance matters. Asset owners need systems that continue to perform year after year, not products that deteriorate, fade or lose compliance over time.

That is why transport authorities, builders and rail contractors continue to trust CTA Group for tactile upgrades across some of the country’s busiest networks.
