Ron’s ‘57 Chev 1/2 Ton Pick Up - Part 5

The engine mounts have now been completed, and the engine is successfully mocked up in preparation for the fitting of the transmission and the design of the crossmember.

Additionally, the custom bases for both the driver and passenger seats have been completed, along with the necessary floor reinforcement.

Back in the workshop, we've designed and fabricated set of custom rock sliders for Matt's ‘98 Chevrolet Suburban, precision-made with fully TIG welded 3mm steel tubing and finished matte black for a premium look.

Spent time finalising the tail shaft hoop before removing it to complete.
Complete mock up and tack in of 4-link rear end to test geometry and suspension.
Test fitted airbags
Also spent time reinforcing the chassis where the new front end and chassis meet.

Diff was mocked up to start layout of 4-link setup and plates were tacked in place.
