What happened at our Ceiling Hoists in SDA Homes event yesterday? 👀
Here’s a sneaky peek inside!

Ceiling hoist prescription involves plenty of questions. Where will your client transfer? How will the tracking layout support their daily routines? How does it all fit within their home?

Yesterday, we explored these questions in a newly finished Sana Living SDA home, alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists and manual handling leaders.

From ceiling hoist configurations to tracking systems and transfer requirements, learning in a real home brought the discussion closer to reality.

Rockingham, what a lovely community you have! 💗 Here’s a little glimpse of our time at the Seniors and Carers Expo.

A great day connecting with Curtin’s future occupational therapists! 🎓

On 30 September, Ivo, Fiona and Christina attended the Assistive Technology Supplier Mini Expo, hosted by Occupational Therapy Services Group at the OTSG Solutions Centre in Bentley.

Our team enjoyed speaking with undergraduate and master’s occupational therapy students from Curtin University about assistive technology, equipment trials and the practical support available when exploring suitable solutions for their clients. Thank you to the Occupational Therapy Services Group for bringing students and assistive technology suppliers together - and to everyone who stopped by for a chat! 💙
