Got the Lil 289W in Box,s Unibody today.. A Mate came over last week and we set the Pinion Angle up and it was either put packers between the Gearbox and Mount or alter the Gearbox Crossmember, i did the latter.. He measured up for the New Tailshaft while he was here as the C4 is shorter than the T5.. Sent the Radiator off for a flush and it looks like the Aluminum Radiator has a hole in the core, so poor ol box will have to dig deep... :(

Still setting things up on Box,s Unibody.. Ended up using the 65 Mustang Fan Spacer as the 6 Cyl one was too short.. Mounted the Lokar Shifter to the C4 and the Trans oil and Modulator lines turned up.. I will have to cut off the ol Three Speed linkages off the base of the Steering Column as i rekon there gunna be right where the Exhaust manifold or Engine Pipe will run.. Engine Angle is looking pretty close but i will double check before i start drilling holes for the New Crossmember Mounts..

Sat a Dummy Windsor Block and C4 Auto in Box,s Unibody, its pretty close to where the Six Cylinder was sitting as the ol Clutch Z bar lines up with the V8 Block.. It cant go any further forward with modifying the Crossmember mounts as they hit the Brake Hose Boss going through the Chassis Rail, i wont do much more with them till i put a degree level on it, underneath the trans looks like its hanging down too much, but the Engine looks okay.. I will sit a Timing casr Cover and Water Pump on the Engine to check for Radiator clearance, but im thinkin theres going to be plenty, we are two Cylinders shorter this time

I had a busy day today... The owner of the Blue mustang picked his Car up.. I got my Hands greasy on the Uniboys Engine and Trans removal... You rekon the Owner could have hot washed the Engine Bay for me before delivering the car... The 5 Speed ended up being a normal T5 and not a S10 5 speed like i thought it was.. Ideal for Bench Seat Cars the S10,s are.. De grease time next and back on the Hoist to start the V8 conversion..

Well today was one of those days! All my own fault.. Ive been meaning to get fixed the Tilt Ram on the Forklift as it been leaking for years, but recently sq**rting from the seal, hence it cant hold pressure.. So stupid me let the 33 Sedan/Coupe have a sleep!! Well its got a good Chassis ( Frame)!!!.. Just missed the Falcons sitting behind it.. Put a scratch in the 65 Mustangs Rear Quarter extension as thats what i was lifting the Sedan and Mayrack in one and a slight incline and then the Forks tilting forward and down it went.. Im not game to take the Tarp off yet, but i know the left B pillar has been bent in at the Roof! Is it Beeroclock yet?

Yes i know im supposed to be Welding, but these nice Sunny Days draw you outside.. So i pulled the Plugs on the Ol 33 Sedan/Coupe Project to sq**rt some l**e into her as she is stuck.. Pretty Original ol 33 Motor by the look of it.. Still has the Detriot lubricator Carby and Correct Inlet Manifold.. I rekon i will keep her as a Six Wheel Equipped Car too..

What a way to spend Easter Sunday! Ive seen the Dragon many times in Town, too many people there anyway.. So i thought id have a play with the 33 Sedan/5 Window project.. Its got some good bits on this ol Clunker! Broke two Snap on Impact Drive bits on the Rear Door Hinges, so i will wait till its in the Workshop and use some heat on them .. Im lookin at that Front Seat Base and the People of the day must have been skinny.. This ol Fat Arse aint gunna fit, so that seat is gunna have to go back at least a foot..

The Owner of the 65 Coupe has organised a VASS Engineer to look at his Car on Monday, so i figured it better re fit the 9 inch JTC Diff to the Car.. I pulled the Plastic cover back and nothings moved! We will test fit the Custom Tailshaft to make sure thats right.. Good to see the Ol Girl uncovered again..
