CRYOTUFF BUSINESS FOR SALE !

After accepting an offer for our TowPack® & CryoTuff® business, the buyers pulled out over the weekend due to finance ☹.

So, if there is anyone interested in the Cryo Machine packaged with all our TowPack® trademarks & designs, please contact us ASAP.

We have built a cracking business over 20 years and would love someone to continue at least the TowPack® side of the business.

Just to give you an idea, the CryoProcessor cost $150k installed and we have $250k+GST of Towpack® & CryoTuff® stock on the shelf without considering good-will, trademarks & designs .. and that doesn’t include the trucks, diffs nor small parts stock!

Whilst we are in negotiations with parties to continue our TowPack® & CryoTuff® range, the best advice we can give is to watch out for copy cats who paint their gearboxes the same as our TowPack® but they are NOT the same! Just remember that all our Towpack® gearboxes contained specially 360 designed parts combined with aftermarket parts PLUS all parts which commonly fail were CryoTuff® treated IN-HOUSE (cryogenically frozen & heat tempered) including inputshafts & clustershafts, so unless they’ve designed their own parts and had their geartrains treated, then the colour of their gearboxes is the only likeness between ours and theirs! We still own the designs & trademarks and to-date NO-ONE has the licence to copy nor use them, so watch this space :-)

For over 20 years, 360 Gearboxes & Diffs has proudly serviced the MANUAL car, truck, and 4WD community – yes that’s correct – NO BLOODY AUTOMATICS!!

After just turning 60 (yes we know she looks 45!) Brian & Jacqui have decided to hang up the tools and enjoy a well-earned retirement whilst still young enough to enjoy another adventure!

Over the years, 360 has achieved many milestones including the acquisition of Japanese Gearbox Wholesalers & All Wheel Drive Gearbox Reconditioners in 2012, effectively doubling the size of the business overnight.

Brian played an innovative role, designing a 6-speed gearbox as well as our TowPack® range which incorporates specially engineered components and modifications to address known weaknesses, particularly in 4WD manual gearboxes.

As the business continued to grow, we relocated twice before establishing ourselves in our current 1,500 sqm facility, complemented by a 100 sqm off-site storage space.

During the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Brian made the bold decision to invest in a cryogenic processor imported from the USA. This technology enabled us to freeze and heat-temper gearbox components, resulting in enhanced durability and lead to the development of our CryoTuff® range and an even more robust TowPack® gearbox! https://360gearboxesdiffs.com.au/cryotuff/

We must thank 2 major parties who were instrumental in helping us grow our business:

Capricorn Society – https://www.capricorn.coop/ - Australia wide Automotive Network – who increased our turnover by 42% in just 1 month by advertising to the Mechanical Workshops.

Simon Christie at 4wd TV who in 2013 put faith in our business and beamed 360 Gearboxes & Diffs across Australia on TV and social media. Our relationship grew with Simon, partaking in many 4WD trips over 10 years, testing our products and gathering with like-minded Suppliers in the 4WD industry. These trips were certainly a great highlight of our career and 4WDTV was monumental in putting us on the 4WD map!

What now?

For Customers who have purchased gearboxes that are still under warranty or have current jobs in our workshop, 360 will complete the job and honour that warranty and will send separate emails to those customers outlining the process.

We still own the designs and trademarks of our TowPack® range and are in negotiations with a Supplier who may purchase these to continue the offerings in this space.

We will be selling our Cryo Processor machine separately so if you know any workshop who would like to purchase that and/or our TowPack® Designs please get in touch with us quickly! We have limited stock on the shelf should you wish to purchase the last of our COOLER gearboxes for the Toyota Landcruiser VDJ, HDJ & 80 series vehicles and also our CyroTuff® KUN26 & HZJ105 gearboxes.

Love all the positive comments supporting Simon Christie & 4wd TV who has done a mammoth job assisting the fire affected areas and brought media attention to those in need. Any keyboard warrior bagging him for "LIKES" is just a TOSSER coz they were at home in comfort, whilst Simon was not only using his contacts & media channels to bring awareness to the forgotten Highlands Hub, he was out there in extreme heat, chainsaw in hand and helping the communities in the best way he knows how! Thanks for your never ending, tireless support of rural communities and bringing major issues to the forefront by use of your social media with 1.8Million followers just on FB alone! Whilst Simon Christie from 4wd TV is out helping the fire affected communities, keyboard warriors are having a go and bagging him for self promotion. Where are they though? Are they out with their chainsaw in the extreme heat of Victoria clearing paths for the community, or are they sitting in their air-conditioned home, not doing a damn thing to help?
Thanks Simon for your tireless work helping those who need it the most right now! Job done, we made a dash to the SPC outlet in Bayswater and these are on their way to you.! Sorry we can’t join you tomorrow but hope this helps nevertheless.

Jacqui & Adam talking about a R154 Toyota Soarer gearset which is similar to the Hilux N70 KUN26 gearset. We built this for a customer approx 8 years ago and its done really well to last this long – It’s in a 1971 Mazda Rx2 with 13b, BW sxe369 turbo – running approx 600hp and a 9inch diff!
We love it when a customer understands that these normal gearsets aren’t made for 600hp so he’s purchased a gearset which is ! Check this out !!
