About the Role
Harrybilt Engineering specialises in Road Rail Trucks, Excavators, Trailers and Rail Maintenance Attachments. As a Labourer / Workshop Assistant, you’ll play an important support role within our workshop, helping keep jobs moving and supporting our skilled trade’s team. This is a varied, practical role where you will learn new skills on the job.
Your duties will include:
- Operating workshop saws
- Assisting with stores duties, including:
- Picking and preparing parts
- Pick ups and drop offs
- General workshop and equipment maintenance
- Basic attachment fitting
- Assembly work (including wheels and related components)
- Paint Prep
- Operating Brake Press

What We’re Looking For
We’re focused on attitude and work ethic. You don’t need to be a qualified tradesperson to apply.
Ideally, you will have:
- A strong willingness to learn and take direction
- A reliable and positive approach to work
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude or hands on experience (helpful but not essential)
- A current driver’s licence
- Previous workshop or labouring experience is an advantage
