The amount of times I get asked, “so can I bore/dig a hole where my mark is”?

Pink mark is where a 300mm auger would of drilled and destroyed this water main (blue paint) and caused all sorts of dramas for this local business.

Always worth getting a certified locator in to check the underground assets in the area before your next project.

Major Telstra cables under these bollards. Optical Fibre cables, 200 pairs, 100 pairs, you name it!
The risks some contractors take amaze me each day.
Please, if you think there might be some underground assets in the area you're about to dig, don't hesitate to call. It's not worth the risk of damaging expensive cables or even worse if you strike a gas pipe or power cable it could be fatal.
