Well… the secret’s finally out! 🚨

If you’ve spoken to Geoff over the last few weeks, you’ll know he’s been trying his hardest not to spill the beans… and trust us, that wasn’t easy! 😂

So here it is…

Our new mobile welding truck has officially hit the road! 🔥🚛

This isn’t just another work vehicle—it’s a massive step forward for FNQ Built.

Going mobile means we can now bring our workshop straight to you. Whether it’s a broken gate, structural repairs, fabrication, or those jobs that are just too big or too inconvenient to move, we’ve got the gear to get it sorted on-site.

Less waiting. Less downtime. Better service.

This has been something we’ve been working towards for a long time, and we’re incredibly proud to finally make it happen.

Most importantly, thank you.

To every customer who’s supported us, recommended us to friends and family, liked and shared our posts, or trusted us with your projects—you’ve helped make this possible. Every job, big or small, has played a part in helping FNQ Built continue to grow, and we honestly can’t thank you enough.

🚧 From Roadworthy Rejection to Road-Ready Perfection 🚧

A customer brought this trailer in after it failed to meet roadworthy requirements. Years of rust and corrosion had taken their toll, leaving critical support bars and hardware in poor condition.

Most people would have looked at it and assumed it was destined for the scrap pile.

Instead, Geoff got to work.

New support bars were fabricated and fitted, rust-damaged sections were repaired, and worn bolts and hardware were replaced to restore the trailer’s structural integrity and safety.

The transformation speaks for itself.

What arrived as a trailer that couldn’t pass a roadworthy inspection is now ready to hit the road with confidence.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but it’s been all go behind the scenes! 💪🏼

Between family life, running the farm, and getting everything sorted for our ever-growing collection of animals, there hasn’t been much time left for posting.

That said, Geoff has still been flat out on the tools. 🔨

Over the past few weeks he’s been working on the start of a house front verandah, sorting doors on cattle trucks, repairing boat trailers, working on cattle yards, and tackling plenty of other welding and fabrication jobs in between.

We’ve also got something exciting coming up…. Geoff has worked very hard towards this one and hasn’t stopped talking about it 🤣

We can’t say too much yet, but he’s been grinning about it for weeks, so stay tuned! 👀

We’ve relocated closer to home in Babinda and are now servicing Babinda and surrounding areas, bringing the workshop straight to you.

Goodbye for now 🙏🏼

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the bittersweet decision to close FNQBuilt.

Like many small businesses, the rising cost of living and increasing operating expenses have made things tougher than ever, and this has played a big part in our decision.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way our customers, suppliers, mates, and the local community. We’re incredibly grateful for the trust you placed in us and the projects we got to be a part of.

While FNQBuilt is coming to an end, this isn’t goodbye to everything. As of the 15th of May Dylan will be continuing on with his own business, so fabrication work will still be available moving forward.

It’s been a great journey, and we’re proud of what we built together. Thanks again for all the support, it truly means a lot.
