Amazing to drive, does 0-100 in 7 seconds and handles like a go kart. Unmodified apart from the later model wheels from the RS200 These have Brembo brakes as standard and have a double axis macpherson front strut setup for less oversteer.

It’s powered by a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine producing 145kW, with variable valve timing and a high-compression design. Strong, free-revving motor developed by RenaultSport.

Interior is in near perfect condition. Factory floors mats are in tact. AC and all the dash functions are working normally. Alpine audio player, Kenwood subwoofer, JL audio 5 Channel amp and focal tweeters with splitters. Professionally installed. Old and expensive at the time but works a treat!

Bad points:
- paint fade mainly on the roof and along the top of the RH door and guard.
- Minor dents and scratches
- Roof lining sagging

Removed from an AE93 Corolla with 295k on the odometer. Motor turns over fine with compression. Suits rebuild or parts as it’s showing low comp on cylinder 3.

The price is for the motor only long bare engine inc timing covers, water pump and sump as a rotating assembly.

The rest of the parts shown on the engine are all for sale seperately. I can provide a new alternator and Starter motor if required.

We sold this in 2023 to a close friend and bought it back in ‘26 and nothings changed. It’s been sitting covered for the past three years. Life goes on, priorities change, opportunities arise. We picked this up the other day from the salvage auctions. Damage to the rear left door and B pillar. Can be repaired and registered as it’s not on the WOVR. The rest of the car presents exceptionally well and has good paint.

It’s got a complete CSX trim in brown in excellent condition. In terms of parts compatibility it’s basically a hatchback up until the C pillars. Front end panels, and doors are the same. If you’re after parts DM your requests. First in best dressed unless sold complete prior.

Vehicle starts and drives however currently leaks transmission oil from the sump. If anyone wants to make an offer as is We have a spare complete transmission which will be sold with the car in known working order. Can also include a left hand rear door.
Open to offers around $2800 including the spares. Can help facilitate shipping anywhere across Australia.
