Happy International Women's Day!

GR Engineering Services continues to recognise the importance of women in the workplace. While ensuring equity is present for all women in the company, we also ensure our offices and sites are free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.

Employees across the GR Group attended events including our Perth office who went to AusIMM's International Women's Day Luncheon featuring an insightful talk from Jelena Dokic.

Putting words into practice, the Group also came together for our annual Clothing Drive. This initiative provides practical assistance to women seeking economic independence - aligning perfectly with this year’s IWD theme, ‘Give to Gain’. The theme highlights how generosity, collaboration, and community support create real opportunities for women to thrive.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) takes place every October. The aim of the BCAM is to shine a light on the devastating impact breast cancer has on thousands of Australians each day.

Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and the most common cancer among females.

We acknowledge the strength of those affected and remind everyone of the importance of early detection and supporting people affected by the disease and research into cures.

During the month of September, we collected books for the The Australian Literacy & Numeracy Foundation (ALNF)!

The ALNF is a national charity helping people in our most marginalised communities gain vital language, literacy and communication skills.

Across the GR Group, we collected over 700 books which doubled our impact last year!

Literacy is Freedom.
