Qualified Metal Fabricator / Welder Wanted – Full Time | Armidale 🔧
Welding Rod Fabrications is seeking a qualified and reliable tradesman to join our established local business in Armidale.
We are a small professional workshop with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and practical solutions. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their trade and wants steady, varied work in a respectful team environment.
About the role:You’ll be involved in a range of fabrication and repair work including:
• General sheet metal fabrication• Handrails and custom metalwork• Small structural steel projects• Stainless, aluminium and mild steel fabrication• General repairs and one-off jobs
What we’re looking for:
• Trade qualified in Metal Fabrication / Engineering or similar• Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience preferred• Experience with MIG and TIG welding• Competent with workshop equipment and fabrication processes• Reliable, punctual and able to work unsupervised• Pride in neat, accurate workmanship• Good attitude and ability to work within a small team
