At PARC Engineering, we came together this week to recognise National Reconciliation Week and take some time to reflect on what the week represents.

We spoke about the history behind National Reconciliation Week and the importance of continuing to build understanding, respect and stronger relationships.

This year’s theme, All In, is a reminder that reconciliation is something we all contribute to through our actions, conversations and commitment every day.

A great opportunity to come together, reflect and have meaningful conversations.

Proud to see Andrew Carter, Executive General Manager at PARC Engineering, taking part in the 2026 Vinnies CEO Sleepout here in WA.

On Thursday 18 June, Andrew will join business and community leaders at Perth Zoo in South Perth, stepping outside his comfort zone for one night to help raise awareness and vital funds for people experiencing homelessness.

With the ongoing cost of living pressures pushing more West Australians to the brink, initiatives like the CEO Sleepout play a critical role in supporting Vinnies’ frontline services - from emergency relief to homelessness support programs.

Wishing Andy and all participants a meaningful night as they help create a future where everyone has a safe place to call home.

Last week Eoin Dumigan, Operations Manager had the opportunity to get up to one of our major Pilbara projects and see the progress firsthand, and what a visit it was.

A real highlight was recognising Alfonso Firenze for his outstanding contribution to safety on site. Leaders like Alfonso set the standard and drive the right culture across the entire team. Pictured with Alfonso is Graeme Callander, Construction Manager, presenting the award.

We’ve now got over 100 people on site across multiple skill sets, and we couldn’t be prouder of how the team is performing. A huge shoutout to our HSE crew as well, the work they do behind the scenes every day is what ensures everyone goes home safe.

Strong progress, strong culture, and a clear focus on what matters most. This team is built for the challenge.

At PARC Engineering, safe ex*****on isn’t just a requirement - it’s how we deliver certainty on every project.

Across Australia’s resources, energy and infrastructure sectors, our teams work with complex plant and equipment every day. From lifting operations and mobile plant to fixed processing assets, the safe use of equipment is critical to protecting our people, our projects, and our clients’ outcomes.

As global pressures continue to impact fuel supply chains and energy availability, the industry is being challenged to do more with less. Efficiency is no longer just about productivity - it’s about how intelligently and safely we operate our plant.

That means:
✔️ Ensuring equipment is fit-for-purpose, maintained, and operating at optimal efficiency
✔️ Reducing unnecessary idle time and fuel consumption
✔️ Planning works to minimise plant movements and double handling
✔️ Empowering our people to stop, assess, and execute safely - every time

At PARC Engineering, our integrated approach across engineering, construction and commissioning allows us to plan smarter from the outset - reducing risk, improving efficiency, and supporting more sustainable project delivery.

Because in today’s environment, safe and efficient plant use isn’t just good practice - it’s essential to building resilient projects for the future.
