Shanked bolts not only improve a bolts ability to withstand shear force, it is a method that is used on many pre 1980s vehicles, to align the pressure plate accurately to the Flywheel.

Near on a daily basis, we see non shanked bolts, incorrectly used in these applications, resulting in misalignment of the pressure plate, engine vibration , potential clutch failure and or injury

Direct clutch stock many of the common, shanked bolts in ARP and or genuine brand, utilizing the under head shoulder to locate into the flywheel.

If your era of vehicle did not run locating dowels, it is essential it runs shanked bolts.

More DCS Billet twin sintered iron goodness going out today. This one is off the NZ , 1000HP LS Drifter .

Twin 9" with American made frictions, all Australian made (here in Brisbane) steels and alloys + Japan made Exedy Diaphragm , hubs and small parts.

Complete unit with adjustable wear shims. We dont expect to see this unit back for a few yrs, even with extreme demands of high end drift!
