Turning waste into opportunity.

Aurora Construction Materials is excited to announce that we’ll be exhibiting at the upcoming WASTE Expo in Melbourne, from October 28-29th 2026.

Come and visit us at Stand GI-17 to see how we’re turning materials that were once considered waste into valuable construction inputs. Today, Aurora is already beneficiating and finding new applications for materials such as excavation stone, bricks, tiles, returned/demolition concrete, steel making blast furnace slag and more

But we know there are many more waste streams that could have a better outcome. Do you generate a waste material but don’t currently have a viable solution for it? We’d love to talk.

Our team will be at WASTE Expo to share what we’re already doing, explore new opportunities and work with businesses to find practical ways to reduce waste, recover value and put more materials back into productive use.

Book your tickets, come and meet the Aurora team, and visit us at Stand GI-17. We look forward to seeing you there.

The future of construction isn't just about building more, it's about building smarter.

Aurora Construction Materials is proud to have partnered on the West Tarneit Station project, where circular economy principles were successfully embedded into Victorian major infrastructure.

Basalt excavated during construction was processed by Aurora and incorporated into a specialised concrete mix before being returned to site for use in the station's pedestrian ramps, transforming what was once considered waste into a valuable construction resource.

Projects like this demonstrate that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand. By rethinking material flows, our industry can reduce waste, preserve finite virgin resources and lower the environmental footprint of new developments without compromising quality.

If you're planning a project and have a vision to minimise waste, maximise resource recovery or incorporate upcycled materials into your build, we'd welcome the opportunity to help turn that vision into reality.

Aurora thank the North Western Program Alliance for their partnership in this initiative.

Aurora Construction Materials is expanding our Melbourne concrete agitator fleet and we’re currently inviting expressions of interest from experienced Lorry Owner Drivers (LODs) who own a concrete agitator truck (or are able to procure their own). Our 3rd Generation Cartage Agreement (just released) forms the backbone of this fantastic opportunity.

We invite you to partner with a growing construction materials business supplying major projects across Victoria. We offer consistent work, with strong industry relationships.

If you are looking for steady placement within a professional, safety-focused fleet environment, we’d like to hear from you. We’re looking to build long-term partnerships with operators who take pride in their equipment, their work and their customer service.

Full details and application information are available via the SEEK listings below. Please review the requirements and submit your interest through SEEK.

At Aurora Construction Materials, we like to think our Cement Treated Crushed Rock (CT) doesn’t just meet spec.....it helps crews get home a little earlier too!

Produced through our highly automated pugmill production facility, every batch delivers precise cement and water dosing for consistent, reliable performance. The result? A VicRoads-approved product that’s easy to work with and keeps productivity moving in the right direction.

We hear it time and again: better workability, faster placement, smoother days on site meaning civil crews are able to get onto the next task sooner. We have redefined what a CT can be!

If that sounds like something your next project could use, call 13 22 61 or reach out to your Aurora sales representative.

In recognition of ANZAC Day and the observed public holiday, Aurora Construction Materials will be closed on Saturday 25th April (customer service centre, production facilities and quarry/concrete deliveries).

We take this time to honour and remember the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country. Lest we forget. We will resume normal operations on Monday 27th April 2026.
