Yesterday we (trucking industry with the agencies) collectively achieved a first; a multi- state (SA, QLD NSW) agreement
(officially Gazetted yesterday and effective immediately) to allow Triple Roadtrains to run out of Burra in SA to Burke in NSW and up and across into the NT to get around the Stuart Highway floods.

In addition about 8 rigs that were stuck at Glendambo were aided through by authorities late yesterday.

The Highway is now closed until the Dept can assess the damage when the water subsides enough (hopefully today) and get stuck into repairing it.

Their plan is to get at least one lane open so supplies can get through.
Theres a huge effort underway to support you guys.
