Delivering critical infrastructure ahead of peak harvest demand.
At Robinvale, Victoria, Ammjohn Solutions partnered with Australian Pioneer Pistachio Company to deliver Stage 1 of a long-term expansion masterplan.
With the 2026 harvest expected volume significantly increasing, there needed to be a change made to the storage capacity. Immediately infrastructure was on the move to complete an expansion.
The outcome:
• Four new 500-tonne silos installed and commissioned
• 2,000+ tonnes of additional hulled pistachio storage capacity
• Delivered within approved capital budget
• Completed ahead of critical harvest deadlines
Executed within a live brownfield processing facility, the project required careful interface management, staged tie-ins, coordination of international suppliers and integration of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and controls systems — all while maintaining ongoing site operations and safety performance.
Beyond the assets delivered, the project validated procurement models, contractor performance and delivery frameworks to de-risk future expansion stages aligned with the 2050 growth roadmap.
This is what structured project controls and disciplined delivery look like in practice.
