Celebrating the Life of Brian Carey

Following the passing of our founder, Brian Carey, the Carey family and everyone at FPE would like to sincerely thank all those who have reached out with messages of condolence, kind words and wonderful stories.

The outpouring of love and respect for Brian has been truly overwhelming.

Brian was a man of great determination, incredible generosity and an unwavering love for his family. He built FPE from the ground up in 1983, leaving behind not only a successful business but a remarkable legacy through the people, partnerships and friendships he formed along the way.

Anyone who knew Brian knew how much he loved FPE. It was his passion and his life's work. And, as he would be the first to say, "The show must go on!"

While we warmly invite family, friends, colleagues, customers and industry partners to join us in celebrating Brian's life, we know he would never have wanted anyone to feel obliged to put everything on hold. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed.

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of our beloved founder Brian Carey. Brian was more than a leader. He was a visionary, a mentor, and a driving force of FPE.

Brian’s legacy is about more than the growth of a business. From the beginning, he believed that reputation was everything. His philosophy was simple: put people before profit, and stand behind what you supply.

During this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the entire Carey family. We also extend our support to our employees, partners, clients, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

Building a stronger service business.

We’re pleased to introduce two of the newest members of the FPE team.

Diana Rodriguez, Procurement & Inventory Supervisor, and Mark Basheer, National Service Manager.

Both roles represent an important investment in our service offering and in our commitment to becoming a business our customers know they can rely on.

Diana is focused on strengthening the procurement and inventory side of our business - making sure we have the right parts, the right processes and greater visibility across our stock and supply chain. It’s an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to supporting our technicians and responding quickly to our customers.

Mark leads our national service team, with a focus on building consistency across our service operations, supporting our technicians and continuing to improve the way we plan, respond and deliver for customers across Australia.
