When was the last time your torque tool was calibrated?

Torque tools are only as accurate as their last calibration.

Over time, regular use, heavy workloads, accidental drops, and harsh operating environments can all affect a tool's accuracy. Even small variations can lead to under- or over-tightened fasteners, increasing the risk of equipment failure, costly rework, safety incidents, and unplanned downtime.

Regular calibration helps ensure your torque tools:
✔ Deliver accurate and repeatable results
✔ Meet quality assurance and compliance requirements
✔ Improve reliability and product performance
✔ Extend the life of your equipment
✔ Give operators confidence that every bolt is tightened correctly

A good rule of thumb is to have your torque tools calibrated every 12 months, or sooner if they're used frequently or have experienced impact or overload.

Custom solutions for unique applications. 🚆🔩

The RTS WA team completed a fitment assessment for the Perth Transit Authority's Prospector train service to Kalgoorlie, trialling a B-RAD 3000 fitted with a custom cup arm designed for undercarriage bolts where no conventional reaction point exists.

The purpose was simply to confirm fitment and accessibility for the custom cup arm within the application before progressing further, with the assessment delivering a successful outcome.
