MG Engineering at Indo Pacific 2025 - Showcasing South Australia’s Defence Capability
MG Engineering’s CEO & Managing Director Anthony Brdar attended his 7th consecutive Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition, proudly exhibiting on the Defence SA stand.

We were proud to be represented this year by members of our newly established Advisory Board and leadership team, reflecting MG’s growth and long-term commitment to Australia’s Defence industry:
🔹 Major General (Ret’d) Dan McDaniel DSC, AM, DSM - Joining MG Engineering as Strategic Advisor, Defence, and Advisory Board Member. Dan brings deep domain expertise across Defence operations, strategy, and capability development, having held senior leadership roles within both the Australian and US Defence systems.
🔹 Michael Phillipou - Executive Advisor and Advisory Board Member. A seasoned CEO and strategic advisor with extensive experience across financial services, technology, and Defence-related sectors, Michael supports the Board and Managing Director in driving MG’s strategy for growth, expansion, and Defence engagement.
🔹 Daniel Forgacs - Attending his second Indo Pacific Conference and representing MG Engineering with professionalism, demonstrating strong technical understanding of both our products and the wider sector’s engineering capabilities.
The event highlighted Australia’s impressive maritime and Defence innovation ecosystem and the pivotal role South Australian companies play in advancing sovereign capability.
