Check out this VY V6 for example. The original system had become hooked up on something and was a bin job.
Being a series 2, it is equipped with a twin cat's from the factory and there is no direct bolt on variant available.
We've built a true cat back sports system completely different to any available system, and it's more likely to cause damage to the underside of the vehicle than drag the exhaust over speed humps or hu**ed road sections.

Another busy day at the shop with two FG falcon's, one needing a new muffler, and the other getting a front resi and rear muffler delete plus a dump tip.
A BA also in for a new muffler, a Civic needing some pipe work replaced and a Hilux with seized turbo bolts that the customer had tried to free.
Plus tomorrow's job is on the hoist and works already started.
So I've got pictures of an earlier job from this week with another Varex installation.

Yesterday, we supplied and fitted some Varex rear mufflers to this VF Storm.
The original rear mufflers had cracked on both sides so the Varex dual controller and loom was included with the purchase to keep things nice and tidy.
A lot easier than juggling 2 remotes.

One of the many job's today definitely needed to be posted.
This tidy Porsche was so quiet with an aftermarket tri flow muffler shoe horned into the system.
The customer was after a complete delete, but we started it straight from the factory front muffler, awoke the V8 a huge amount, but it was incredibly droney and a empty tin can note. We recommended to go for the small resonator to clean up the sound and keep drone down to a minimal.

I haven't posted in some time, not from lack of work, just with so much to juggle, finding time to do pictures is getting impossible.
I'm still covering for South Coast Auto fix, answering calls, speaking to customers that drop in and a few engine builds, it's a lot for one person to manage.
But this Skyline was fitted with a muffler delete, and it's owner's had differing opinions of the sound. We ordered and fitted a Varex cannon to hopefully keep both parties happy with the ability to be both loud, and quiet with the push of a button.

A true cat back 2.5 inch, 409 system was the go to obtain the sound she was after.
Within the hour of picking it up, we received a message thanking us and confirming our design was just what she wanted.

This Toyota Surf came in for a new cat converter, then a 409 stainless sports system. Flow is drastically improved with the combination of a better designed cat, larger 2.5 inch pipe and free flowing mufflers.
