Our very own Matt Devine had the pleasure of sitting down with Brenden Green from New Edge Microbials at Hort Connections last week.

Loch Taylor from Nhill says his first season with liquids has been a game changer 🌾💧
“We are very happy with our LQS Module, it’s just been so easy to work with. We’ve covered 5,500ha and it’s been brilliant.”

After doing plenty of research into in-furrow liquids, Loch decided it was worth trying. They started simple, across their mixed cropping program, mainly running trace elements, trialling soil wetters on sandy country and applying Gaucho on lentils.

“We’ve had some good rain toward the end of seeding, so it feels like a really good start to the season and we are looking forward experimenting more with the liquid system next year”

It’s great to see growers taking the next step with liquids and using equipment that helps make seeding more efficient, reliable and easier to manage.
