Runs nice, complete with dash and harness $7,000.00

Low hours recond, with new dash and harness. .

Hi all,
Monday again. Late lunch, though I would catch up with what we are up to.
Busy at the work shop. Surf rescue , Life save 2 in for 1200 hrs service and refit.
We also have a 7.5m Air Rider in the workshop, having a new 6LPA-STZP with ZT370 stern drive installed.
Lot of work to get through before the end of the year.

Recently we complete major service and repairs to Yellow Fin , long liner for the Fish factory.
The Yanmar 6HYM-ETE has over 55,000 hrs and still going well.
We recently have all the coolers off and serviced.
Injectors out for service with new nozzles and shims etc.
Control system repair and upgrade.
general servicing and adjustments.
Isuzu gensets repair and service.
Vessel is back at work now.
Each year the old girl is getting better.
owner and skipper are slowly working through to make this a nice vessel.

Morning all.
Cold start again this morning, 3 degrees when I left home.
Nice days this week.
147 mm rain last week. Finally a normal winter.

We have been busy since start of the year.
We had an urgent transmission repair to have completed prior to Easter .
Twin Disc 5020DC
Transmission had lost system oil pressure and all clutch / drive plates were burnt and failed.
Compete bearing and clutch replacement. all seals and gaskets.
housing was dismantled and all components checked.
Housing sent out to have bearings pressed off main shaft .
Ended up requiering 80 t to push bearings off shaft.
Special tools were machined to make this all happen.
reassemlby we completed beraings predssed back ont oshaftys, all clutch drums service with new plates, bearings and seal.
We complted transmission repair thrurday prior to easter.
A few long days.

A lot of work in a tight timeframe.
all came out well.
See if we can get another 15 year or more.

Good afternoon all.
Easter is here.
Busy start to the year. We have just tis month caught up with repairs and servicing from end of last year.
We recently had an engine failure onboard Whyalla Pilot vessel Swither.
These engine have been looked after by us since new 18 years ago. They has 10,000 hrs on them
We had a possible injector failure after some poor fuel went through the system.
We sourced a pair of new engines ex Power Equipment in Melbourne.
We travelled to Whyalla and remove both Port and Starboard engine's.
We had to remove the rudders, propellers and pull the shafts to allow engine removal. These engines have a "V" drove transmission. The propeller shaft runs through the centre of the transmission.
We returned back to workshop. Swapped over all ancillary components. Serviced all pumps and mount. Repaired a transmission valve body change over. and service the transmission coolers.
Returned back to Whyalla and refitted two new engines, replaced all wiring harness and installed two new dash panels.
We sorted through some wiring repairs and electrical issues.
Had both motors running on the slip trolly and back into the water.
Quick sea trail, 27 knts at 3300 rpm.
e are about to go back and compete a 50 hr service and check over.
Two week trub around, start to finish.
