Meet Jordan!
I moved around a lot as I had seperating parents but it didn’t stray me from staying focused and goal driven. I’ve always been proficient and skilled with my hands, fast to learn and adapt new skills. So I loved working with my hands building stuff out of steel and/or timber. However, I had that as an interest and/or hobby. Originally I wanted to pursue a career in the forces. Sadly they denied me which ultimately lead to me pursuing a career in metal work, so I chose the pathway of becoming a boilermaker.
I’ve been with the company for just over 6 years now and still have a strong passion for it. I enjoy the role I have, being a leader and running my own sites. Starting sites/projects from the start to finish. Completing them and signing them off is a great feeling. Although some days can be a test, ultimately everyday I work in this trade with SA Steelworks, is always a blessing and a day enjoyed!
