Wanted: Pipe Fitters, Pipe Welders, & Apprentices (Multiple Positions Available)

Ongoing full-time positions, with optional regular shutdown work

Pipe Weld Australia (PWA) is a pipe fabrication and installation company based in Green Fields, South Australia. We are seeking Pipe Fitters and Pipe Welders, and Apprentices to commence in early January 2026.

Skills and Attributes

Pipe Fitters

• Ability to work to engineering drawings

• Certificate III in Engineering, Fabrication Trade, or relevant experience

• Pipefitting and fabrication experience

Pipe Welders

• TIG (GTAW) and Fluxcore (FCAW) welding experience preferred

• Ability to pass a GTAW 6G weld test

Essential for All Roles

• Minimum two years’ experience in the relevant trade, not including apprenticeship periods

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

• Right to work in Australia

We’re proud to congratulate Thomas Mosey on completing his apprenticeship in Engineering (Fabrication) and achieving both his Welder Certificate 7 and Certificate 10 in Welding Supervision.

Thomas’s skill, work ethic, and attitude toward learning have been outstanding from day one, earning him the respect of everyone at PWA. We’re thrilled to have him continue with us as a qualified tradesman / welding supervisor.

A huge congratulations to Jordan Piles on completing his Engineering Tradesperson (Fabrication) apprenticeship here at PWA!

Jordan commenced as an adult apprentice in 2021 and has completed his apprenticeship with distinction. We’re proud to have him continue on with PWA as a skilled tradesperson and a valuable member of the team.
