The dudes from Fish & Drifts went and checked out Tristan’s 1J AE86, check it out! Will be great to have ours out with him one day, we both started building about the same time.

Another couple of shifts done at the construction centre. At this rate this thing might be finished in another 7-10 years 😆

Got most of the fuel lines made up now, -8 Teflon and 1/2” hard line feed and -6 Teflon and 3/8” hard line return. Never done hard line before so pretty happy with how it came out. Need to make up some more flex lines for over the diff and some for the engine bay end once the motor is back in. A few more mounting points for the filter and flex sender and the fuel system is complete.

Hey there everyone
Life has been super busy lately but got a bit more work done last week. Need to make some more time to get this sprinter together!
Finally managed to get the walbro lift pump fitted to the hanger bracket. Lines fitted on the pump side now need to get the tank back up under the car to finish off the surge tank and eflex.
Also finished off the custom msd leads, they look super neat under the inlet and factory valley cover

Well it’s been a long time between updates, life’s been busy! Finally found a bit of time and motivation to get back into the sprinter so thought I’d share the progress. Pulled the motor and gearbox out to mock up some bits.

✅ MRP crank girdle, baffled sump and crank trigger kit.
✅ Turbo oil and water lines made up.
✅ Fitted the LS2 coil packs under the inlet manifold to keep the bay a bit cleaner.
✅ Installed the SQ down pull throttle cable adapter to suit the top feed fuel rail.
✅ Partly fitted up the fuel system. Walbro intank lift pump > upgraded Ae82 pump hanger > under car surge tank. Waiting on a few more fittings to make up some lines for the raceworks flex fuel sender and filter.

Picked up some new rims the other week, will fit nice and flush. 15x8 +/-0 all round, need to get the g series together to see how much I need to massage the rear guards and what size rubber I can fit. Yes they are rotas so bring on the hate 😝

Been slow going but got an intake pipe and filter setup. Also have most of Aeroflow adapters sorted now so I can start making hoses soon

Going to let my old racing wheels go if anyone is interested. TOMs c3r 15x7 4x100 +30 fitted with 205/50/15 federal 595rsr semi slicks. Only used a couple times down the 1/4, heaps of tread left. $300 for the pair
