💧 Posch & Partner is proud to serve as Construction Supervisor for all water infrastructure investments in Edineț financed by ADA and the European Union 🇪🇺.

🏗️ The programme includes:
🔹 Construction of a new raw water intake and pumping station
🔹 Rehabilitation of three pumping stations
🔹 Rehabilitation of sections of the transmission main
🔹 Construction of a new water treatment plant with an initial capacity of approximately 60 l/s 💦

These investments will significantly improve the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of the region’s water supply system, creating lasting benefits for local communities. 🌍🤝

💧 New Water Project to Advance Choma ZM

🚧 A major infrastructure project to improve the water supply in Choma, Zambia, is now underway. With an investment of approximately €32 million, the existing water supply system will be comprehensively upgraded.

🤝 The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and KfW Development Bank, underscoring a strong commitment to sustainable infrastructure development and improved living conditions in the region.

🔧 The project includes the rehabilitation of key water pipelines and boreholes, the modernization of pump stations, water treatment plants, and metering systems, as well as extensive training for the utility operator. Its goal is to significantly reduce water losses and provide a more reliable and sustainable water supply for thousands of households.

🏡 For the local community, this means improved access to clean water, fewer service interruptions, and a better quality of life.

🤝 The construction phase officially kicked off in May this year with the signing of contracts worth €4.5 million.

🌍 We are excited to be part of this important project and proud to contribute to its successful implementation and to the sustainable development of Choma’s water infrastructure.

📍 New Injalo Reservoir in Batumi - Georgia
Great progress on site — half of the top slab has already been cast, while the second half is being poured today. The concrete pumps are in position, waiting for the first concrete trucks to arrive. You can clearly see the formwork and reinforcement ready for the final section.
Step by step, the structure is taking shape. 🏗️👷‍♂️🚛⚠️⛑️💪

Successfully overcoming challenges on our construction site in Batumi

The construction pit for PS A was flooded due to groundwater intrusion through a damaged section of the concrete pile wall.
Following repeated grouting works, the issue has been resolved and construction of the foundation slab is now continuing.

As the winter season comes to a close, we’re slowly saying goodbye to winter and welcoming spring.
At the end of March, our Innsbruck office headed to Kühtai for one last ski day together. After a few great runs on the slopes, we wrapped up the afternoon with a delicious Tyrolean lunch.
A wonderful day with an amazing team.
