When the application demands precision, the engineering has to match. ⚙️
Dolphin is excited to share one of our latest delivered projects, a 7,268 BHP / 5.2 MW remote genset cooling system, purpose-built for a Caterpillar C280-16 engine operating in high ambient, high pressure, and high temperature conditions.
Every stage of this project, design, manufacturing, and supply, was handled entirely under one roof.
Key highlights:
🔵 Twin-circuit configuration, dedicated HT circuit for engine jacket water cooling and LT circuit for after-cooler and oil cooling
🔵 Fin-block type coils with seamless copper tubes and aluminium fins, delivering superior thermal efficiency over conventional copper-brass cores
🔵 5 independent fan motors with VFD compatibility and ambient-based motor control for optimised power consumption
🔵 Separate expansion tanks with coolant level gauges for both circuits, ready for direct installation
🔵 Fully nitrogen-purged and sealed with blind flanges for shipment preservation, zero contamination risk until commissioning
🔵 Built at over 11 meters long and nearly 3 meters tall
This is what a truly integrated capability looks like. From concept to commissioning, zero compromises. ✅
