Acoustic performance in a pivot door lives in the parts you never see. It isFritsJurgens the hinge alone, but to how every seal around the door works together.
The Tafelberg door shows this starting at the top. A drop seal sits inside the door and rises the instant it closes, shutting the gap the pivot seam leaves at the top of the opening. At the bottom, an automatic drop seal slides down at the same moment and meets the floor across the full width. Between the two, the System M+ pivot turns on a floor plate fastened with 8 millimetre pins into the floor.
Closed, the door holds its acoustic line from top to bottom. Open, the route reads as one continuous surface, with nothing left on the floor to interrupt it.
