The pinnacle of big games sport fishing on top water. What we would consider the Mount Everest of sport fishing . Couldn’t have asked for a better team couldn’t have asked for a better boat couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was all like it was ment to be. Thank you god for bringing it all together to this moment. For me personally it’s also on a new rod that I have designed and a braid that I have just started testing .. all ment and created to make moments like this happen not only for me but for people who are absolutely mental about this fishery. I hope that when these new rods come out and you get tight on your PB fish you will do it confidently, knowing you brought the best gear in the world to achieve the mission Silkocean FCMP PE 14 will be on your reel and redemption rod in your hand, giving you the confidence to land a dream.

Some raw footage, not every angle is perfect not every frame is clear. At this point of the fight the drag is set to about 40-45lb about 20kg, every run of the fish comes at full force and can be unexpected. Got lifted by this fish two times during this fight, the first almost got me over board and that will be shared on the YouTube video, just for clarification, I weigh over 200 pounds, this fish had absolutely no problem taking me for a ride.

Absolute mayhem out in Cape Cod giant bluefin, tuna, nuking, Poggy pods! A frenzy to remember! Got my IMS popper monster wake 210 right in the middle of it, knowing I’m getting tight just by where I was positioned. This frenzy was too mental not to get tight and for the Stella, not to sing her tune What a arush!

Redemption, I have been chasing these creatures for the last few weeks started off in Morocco in the strait of Gibraltar with four days of casting nonstop yet fish were stuck in the bottom of 400 m depth and refused to come up to snag a popper, I was redeemed of my efforts in Cape Cod last week. The mission continued to Cape Cod for two weeks, two weekends three days of hard-core fishing in pursue of landing the giant bluefin tuna on our new red redemption 7.1 rod and the Silkocean FCMP PE 14 that was introduced just three months ago. The mission was set forth with a bunch of lunatics crazy as I am or even more to lend the pinnacle of spinning and tapwater fishing. Ivan from IMS - handmade lures for saltwater fishing has customized for me two monster wake 210 which were both annihilated the first one blue back with yellow lines was the first to go in a very aggressive attack by a giant that shafted the leader within 20 minutes of fight. The second take came 15 min after rigging up once more with an identical popper with a redhead and white body as the popper was fought on by three Giants that tried to get it from one of another to be gulped by one of the three giants. Once I get through my footage, I will be sharing the strike of the two fish and it’s gonna keep you stunned . Redemption rod series will start being available January of next year right in time for OBX season.

Welcome to Cape Cod - Just one of the great action packed moments of the second weekend up at Cape Cod with a group of friends insane enough to troll their boat for 12 hours in order to make this weekend happen. Landing 110 inch fish with an estimated weight of 800 pounds is not an easy mission fortunate enough to have the right people around me in order to make this happen. What you’re seeing is the prototype testing of our up-and-coming standup tuna rod, the redemption 7.1 which will also be accompanied by shorter version 6.8 , this is the first of its kind 100% carbon build that can withstand the pressure of these giants at a 90° angle with a max drag of 45 kg. This fish wouldn’t been landed unless Silkocean FCMP PE 14 our newest braid joining the impeccable lineup of FCMP achievements.
