Established in 1986, Intersel Dowding and Mills FZCO has grown into the leading repair specialist in the Gulf Region for all rotating electrical equipment. Repair capability ranges from small low voltage and horsepower motors right up to 39,540KVA,13.8KV at 3600 rpm “Brush Turbo Generators”. We specialize in GE 752 and EMD D79 traction motors, generators and Baylor brakes, used in the oil industry and the modification and Certification of GE752 motors to ATEX (IP15) compliance. Our site engineers have worked in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Sudan, Jordan, India, Libya, Algeria, KSA, Malaysia and Pakistan as well as the UAE. Our location in Jebel Ali Free Zone, U.A.E. offers opportunities for marine electrical repairs, including routine monitoring, removal, rewinding and commissioning of ship generators and drives. Intersel Dowding and Mills FZCO has recently became the Authorized Service Center for Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric (TMEIC) Motors in the UAE.

Following the completion of stator coil rewinding for the three-phase induction motor, a polarity test using a galvanometer must be performed before proceeding with stator varnishing. This is followed by inter-turn coil testing and a DC Hipot test to verify insulation integrity and ensure the overall reliability of the motor.
