The NMDC Coastal & Hydrodynamic Center is the first of its kind in the Middle East and West Asia, introducing advanced hydraulic physical modelling capabilities within the region.
The facility strengthens in-country engineering capacity, improves operational efficiency, and reduces reliance on external testing facilities, enabling more effective delivery of complex marine projects.

تُعد منشأة اختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية المتقدمة الأولى من نوعها في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وغرب آسيا، حيث توفر قدرات متقدمة لاختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية داخل المنطقة.
كما تعزز القدرات الهندسية داخل الدولة، وترفع كفاءة العمليات، وتقلل الاعتماد على المختبرات الخارجية، بما يدعم تنفيذ المشاريع البحرية المعقدة بكفاءة أعلى.

Our region’s first hydraulic physical modelling test facility enables the simulation and physical testing of complex marine, coastal and offshore infrastructure under controlled conditions.
The facility supports engineers in simulating waves, tides and currents, and validating the performance of ports, breakwaters, sea walls and offshore structures using scaled physical models before construction.

تتيح أول منشأة تجارية في المنطقة لاختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية إمكانية محاكاة واختبار البنية التحتية البحرية والساحلية والمنشآت البحرية المعقدة ضمن بيئة مخبرية خاضعة للتحكم الكامل.
وتُمكّن المنشأة المهندسين من محاكاة الأمواج والمدّ والتيارات، والتحقق من أداء الموانئ وكواسر الأمواج والجدران البحرية والمنشآت البحرية باستخدام نماذج مصغّرة تحاكي الواقع قبل التنفيذ.

The center adds to NMDC D&M's specialized capabilities, and brings advanced marine and coastal engineering testing and validation to the UAE.

افتتحت شركة إن إم دي سي دريدجينج اند مارين أول منشأة اختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية المتقدمة من نوعها في المنطقة.
