Fire Officer Vacancy start date Immediate (Month to Month) to November 2023 R170.00 per hour.
Must have the following:
Matric Certificate or Equivalent, Diploma in Fire Technology (NB!!!! SAESI Diploma not accepted)

Minimum 3yrs of Experience, Knowledge of Power Station Layout Advantageous

Attributes: Leader – Motivates Others, Team Player Coach and Mentor
Knowledgeable/Experienced – Fire safety and building

regulations, Fire Brigade Knowledge, SHE knowledge, Fire

System Knowledge and relevant Eskom Standards
Skills – Supervisory, Communication, Facilitation, Presentation, Scheduling

and Planning

Duties:
• Co-ordinate Fire Risk Management Programme
• Co-ordinate the Fire and Emergencies Hazard Control Procedures
• Control the Ex*****on of Fire Risk Management Activities and

Requirements
• Enforce Hot Work and Combustible Permit System
• Perform Supervisory Activities
• Perform Administrative Activities
• Co-ordinate and Control Fire Risk Management Contract Work
