SAINT-GOBAIN FIBRE CEMENT PLANT – ELECTRICAL & INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN

Project Scope
Medium Voltage (MV) network design with dual MV supply points.
Design and integration of:
1 × 2.5 MVA Transformer
1 × 2.0 MVA Transformer
1 × 630 kVA Transformer
Standby power system comprising 3 generators.
UPS systems for all critical and essential loads.
Power distribution design for industrial motors, autoclaves, boilers, and production equipment.
Busbar reticulation throughout the facility.
Distribution board design and specification.
Infrastructure & Services Design
MV cable design from the municipal substation, including BMK units and associated ancillary equipment.
Internal MV and LV distribution networks throughout the plant.
Cable routing layouts and containment systems.
Lighting design for production, warehouse, and external areas.
Communication, control, and data network design for machine integration and plant operations.
Security infrastructure design and integration.
Energy Management
Plant-wide metering solutions for monitoring energy consumption.
Power factor correction and harmonic filtering systems.
Load analysis and power quality management.
Additional Responsibilities
Engineering support for township rezoning requirements and utility approvals.
Design coordination for raw material, production, warehouse, and logistics facilities.
Contractor supervision and construction oversight during implementation.
