Mini Racking with Closed Slatted Timber Decks Installed

Another practical storage solution completed by Pro2Call Racking.

This project included two separate racking areas, each approximately 7.3 m wide, with 3 mini racking bays per area — making a total of 6 mini racking bays installed.

Project specifications included:
•⁠ ⁠Two areas at approximately 7.3 m wide
•⁠ ⁠3 mini racking bays per row, per area
•⁠ ⁠6 mini racking bays in total
•⁠ ⁠Bay size: 2 400 mm H x 600 mm D x 2 100 mm W
•⁠ ⁠3 beam levels to the height
•⁠ ⁠Each beam level has a 450 kg UDL carrying capacity
•⁠ ⁠Beam levels covered with 22 mm closed slatted timber decks
•⁠ ⁠Standard colours: blue end frames and orange beams

The project scope included manufacturing, delivery, and installation.

• 2 beam levels to the height
• 3 stacking levels including ground level

30 m² Structural Mezzanine Floor Installed

This project included a 30 m² structural supported mezzanine floor with 21 mm plywood decking, designed to create additional usable space within the client’s existing facility.

Project specifications included:

• Floor size: 9 000 mm L x 3 325 mm W
• Carrying capacity: 500 kg/m²
• Finished floor height: 2 639 mm
• 21 mm plywood flooring
• 900 mm wide staircase with landing
• Two sliding pallet gates
• Hand and knee rail included
• Black structural finish

The project scope included draughtsman’s drawings and layout, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and a structural engineer certificate on completion.

Another smart storage upgrade completed by Pro2Call Racking.

Our latest Mini Rack Extension project included:

✅ 24 bays of Mini Racking
✅ Each bay measuring 2 400 mm (H) x 1 000 mm (D) x 2 400 mm (W)
✅ 2 beam levels to the height
✅ Middle storage level fitted with an open slatted timber deck
✅ Timber deck gaps of 22 mm – 30 mm
✅ Top beam level added for support and bay stability
✅ Frames anchored for added stability
✅ 300 kg (UDL) carrying capacity per level

This installation created a more organised, practical, and efficient storage solution, while maintaining strength and stability throughout the system.
