Mini Rack Extension Installed

Another large-scale mini racking extension project completed by Pro2Call Racking.

This project included a total of 123 mini racking bays, designed to extend the client’s storage capacity and create a practical, organised storage solution for their operational needs.

Project specifications included:

• Total of 123 mini racking bays
• Bay size: 2 400 mm H x 1 000 mm D x 2 400 mm W
• 2 beam levels to the height
• Middle level covered with 22 mm open slatted timber decks
• Approximately 30 mm gaps between timber slats
• Top beam level added for support and bay stability
• Each level has a 300 kg UDL carrying capacity
• Frames anchored for stability
• Standard colours: blue end frames and orange beams

The project scope included manufacturing, delivery, and installation.

Warehouse Cages with Swing Gates Installed

Another practical warehouse safety and access-control solution completed by Pro2Call Racking.

This project included the manufacturing, delivery, and installation of warehouse cages with open swing gates, designed to create a secure and organised enclosed area within the client’s facility.

Project specifications included:

•⁠ ⁠50 mm x 2 mm square tube frames
•⁠ ⁠40 mm x 3 mm welded flat bar finishing
•⁠ ⁠50 mm x 50 mm x 3 mm welded mesh panels welded inside the frames
•⁠ ⁠Side panels measuring 3 550 mm x 2 600 mm
•⁠ ⁠1 staircase panel included
•⁠ ⁠2 open swing gates with hinges
•⁠ ⁠Caster included on the far side of each swing gate
•⁠ ⁠Finished in dark battleship grey

The project scope included manufacturing, delivery, and installation.

Storage Level Replacement with 34 mm Plywood Decks

Another practical pallet racking upgrade completed by Pro2Call Racking.

This project included the replacement of 78 storage levels with stronger 34 mm open slatted timber decks, designed to improve durability and support long-term warehouse storage performance.

•⁠ ⁠76 storage levels measuring 2 700 mm W x 1 200 mm D
•⁠ ⁠2 bridge bay storage levels measuring 3 130 mm W x 1 200 mm D
•⁠ ⁠34 mm open slatted timber decks fitted
•⁠ ⁠Decks manufactured with 3 bearers
•⁠ ⁠Open slatted design with approximately 30 mm gaps

Another large-scale pallet racking project completed by Pro2Call Racking.

This project included a total of 48 pallet racking bays, arranged as 24 bays back-to-back in a single row, creating 288 new pallet positions for the client’s Bond Store.

10 m² Two-Tier Structural Mezzanine Floor Installed

Another large-scale space optimisation project completed by Pro2Call Racking.

This project included a 110 m² two-tier structural mezzanine floor, designed to create additional usable space across both a bottom and top floor level within the client’s existing facility.

Project specifications included:

Bottom Floor: 72 m² Structural Mezzanine Floor

• Floor size: 8 400 mm L x 8 800 mm W
• Carrying capacity: 500 kg/m²
• Double 18 mm plywood flooring, 36 mm total
• Joists spaced at 610 mm centre to centre
• Straight-up staircase with landing: 4 725 mm x 1 000 mm
• 40-degree staircase angle
• Hand and knee rails supplied and installed
• One single sliding pallet gate included

Top Floor: 38 m² Structural Mezzanine Floor

• Floor size: 4 725 mm L x 8 800 mm W
• Carrying capacity: 500 kg/m²
• 21 mm plywood flooring
• Joists spaced at 610 mm centre to centre
• Straight-up staircase with landing: 2 825 mm x 1 000 mm
• 45-degree staircase angle
• Extra joists and cleats for stability
• Hand and knee rails supplied and installed

The structures were finished in dark grey.

The project scope included manufacturing, delivery, installation, and a structural engineer certificate on completion.

A strong and practical two-tier mezzanine solution designed to maximise vertical space and increase usable floor area without expanding the building footprint.
