Another Beautiful Series 2A Back to Her Best!

This beautiful Land Rover Series 2A came to us for some much-needed TLC, and what a pleasure it was to work on her!

We carried out:
*New brake shoes & wheel cylinders
*Wheel bearings tightened
*Cooling system flushed and filled with Evans Waterless Coolant to help prevent further rust and corrosion and protect the internal components of the cooling system
*New rims & tyres
and much more

And can we just take a moment to appreciate that blue! 😍💙 It’s beautifully striking and certainly catches the eye of everyone who visits our workshop.

She’s now all sorted and on her way back home, ready for many more adventures.

It’s always a privilege working on these beautiful old Land Rovers and helping keep them on the road where they belong.

This Land Rover Defender 110 just received a serious braking upgrade with a Powerbrake X-Line 6-piston front brake kit, replacing the factory 4-piston calipers.

Another Defender 2.4 Turbo Core Replacement!

A worn turbo doesn't always mean the entire turbocharger needs replacing. If the problem is identified early enough and the housings are still in good condition, replacing the turbo core (CHRA) can be a far more cost-effective solution than fitting a complete new turbo.

In this case, we replaced the turbo core and reused the existing housings, restoring performance while keeping costs down for the customer.

The key is catching the issue early—unusual noises, loss of power, excessive smoke, or oil consumption are all signs that should be investigated before further damage occurs.

Preventative maintenance and early diagnosis can save thousands in repair costs.
