Did you know? Newborn piglets can't regulate their body temperature for the first few days of life. They are born with a core body temperature of 38-39°C. Therefore, they need to stay in an environment of 32-35°C to thrive. If they become chilled, they will struggle to nurse. You can use heat lamps, shavings, or heating pads to keep them cozy and warm. A perfect temperature is crucial for their survival!
