Field Service Technician within the AccuTech Weighing Services, you will perform the after-sale service on a variety of industrial equipment on customer sites and provide technical customer service.

More specifically, you will have to:

Resolve technical problems and answer customers’ queries;

Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment;

Recommend the purchase of services or spare parts to customers;

Perform maintenance, prevention and after-sale service;

Provide technical training on equipment use to the customer and its employees;

Produce various daily activity reports.

Profile description :

Matric

All combination of professional experiences and training would be an asset;

Experience in programming, an asset;

Experience with Electroniccs, an asset;

Ability to work with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic components, and with PLCs;

Availability to travel within Africa and abroad

Customer-oriented.

Profile :

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment;

Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or / Manufacturing), Operations Management, or equivalent; experience;

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills;

Ability to build effective partnerships with internal and external suppliers and partners;

Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing philosophies, operations, processes, and related technologies;

Excellent understanding and the ability to manage capital and expense budgets;

Personal computer skills, all our systems are cloudbased so training will be provided
