Another VlakVark installation done!!

This VlakVark Snr was installed in Sedgefield on a farm. Needless to say it gets lekkerrrr cold there...brrrr. Luckily our clients now have a "Varkie" to keep them cozy and warm this winter.

We've had a busy week! Doing fireplace installations between rainy days, seeing new clients and lots of traveling.. We installed this Magma slow combustion wood-burning stove for a client in the Mont Fleur Mountain Estate in Blanco, George. With the high volume ceiling the flue seems neverending! Our clients are now prepared for cozy and warm winter nights. 🌟🔥🏠💕️❄️

We installed this Haas + Sohn fireplace and Mantel for Amy and Glen Anderson in Camphersdrift, George.

They renovated and wanted to re-install this beaut, one of a kind!

Plans are to repaint the mantel and finish it off with wooden trimming, photo will follow..

Work done;

1. Fabricated a new fl**ge plate and fitted a new seal
2. Repositioned the fireplace and mantel that would be practical.
3. Re-used stainless flues and custom sized it for the project.
4. Fitted and waterproofed flues.
5. Re-assembled the mantel and cleaned it.
6. Cleaned the fireplace and glass.
7. Fitted the proper fire insulation in the roof cavity.
8. Cleaned up used flues and fitted a new ceiling plate.

Amy and Glen have plans to renovate the mantel as their own project.

It was such a pleasure to assist them to prepare their living space for warmth and comfort this winter!!

Installations of fireplaces all differ, they are never the same..
Hard work? For sure...

We completed the cowl installation at Grill & Gather at the Grootbrak Waterfront. We fabricated the cowl out of Stainless Steel and to look similar to the rest of the extraction ducts.

With the recent rain and wind we had to complete this task on a dry day due to the height and for safety reasons.

If you feel like a nice outing and want some delicious meat braaied to perfection pop in at the Grootbrak Waterfront and visit the new Grill & Gather shop/ restaurant. You choose your meat and they grill it to perfection.

We installed the Stainless steel flue system and the adapter plate for their braai just in time for their Grand opening on the 2nd of May.
