One month.
One global maritime gathering.
One exciting opportunity to connect and reconnect.
National Ship Chandlers is once again preparing to join maritime purchasing, procurement and supply professionals from around the world at one of the industry’s leading international events.
Hosted at the QEII Centre in Westminster from 22-23 September, IMPA London offers an important opportunity to exchange industry insights, strengthen relationships and engage with the global maritime community.
We look forward to seeing familiar faces, building new connections and sharing how we support vessels calling at South African ports.

From shore to ship.
An order is not complete when it leaves the warehouse.
It is complete when every item has been safely delivered on board.
Whether transported across the quay, carried over the water or lifted directly onto the deck, no two vessel deliveries are exactly the same.
That is why every delivery depends on careful handling, precise timing and close coordination between the teams on shore and at sea.
Different vessels. Different requirements. Different routes on board.
The goal remains the same: getting the right supplies to the right place, safely and efficiently, so the vessel can continue its voyage.

A vessel’s next requisition is shaped by far more than its vessel type.
The vessel type may be familiar.
The requisition rarely is.
Between one port call and the next, a vessel’s supply requirements can change according to:

> The number & composition of the crew
> The length & destination of the next voyage
> Available storage & remaining stock onboard
> Dietary, cultural & religious requirements
> Technical specifications & equipment compatibility
> The time available to complete the delivery
Even a familiar vessel can therefore present an entirely new supply challenge.
Understanding the vessel type is only the starting point.
Effective ship supply means looking beyond the order to understand the voyage, the people onboard, where the vessel is heading and what may be needed before the next opportunity to resupply.

Strong industries are built on strong communities.
For more than four decades, IMPA London has been at the heart of the global maritime procurement and supply sector, connecting purchasers, suppliers and industry leaders while driving collaboration, professional development and best practice across the industry.
Beyond its events, the International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA) continues to play an important role in advancing maritime procurement through education, industry initiatives and knowledge sharing.
We're proud that National Ship Chandlers has been part of the community over the years and we look forward to another opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, build valuable connections and see familiar faces in London.

Months at sea.
Countless miles travelled.
Delivering the goods the world depends on.
The maritime industry keeps the world connected, and at the heart of it are the seafarers who navigate our oceans.
From food and fuel to raw materials and everyday essentials, the world relies on more than two million seafarers who spend months at sea ensuring goods reach businesses, industries and communities across the globe.
This year's Day of the Seafarer theme - Carrying world trade. Carrying the risks. - shines a light on the often unseen realities of life at sea and the responsibility of those who keep global supply chains moving despite the challenges they face.
We are privileged to work alongside an industry built on dedication, commitment, sacrifice and courage.
The impact of their work extends far beyond the horizon.

Our oceans remain the invisible link connecting industries, economies, and communities across the world.
Today, more than 80% of global trade is transported by sea, making the maritime industry fundamental to resilient supply chains and the movement of essential goods across international markets.
At the same time, the ocean produces at least 50% of the world’s oxygen, absorbs nearly 30% of global CO₂ emissions, and supports billions of livelihoods worldwide.
This World Ocean Day reinforces the growing international focus on stronger ocean governance, marine conservation, and long-term sustainability.
For the maritime sector, protecting ocean health is not only an environmental responsibility, but a strategic priority for the future resilience of global trade, port operations, and shipping networks.
Protecting the ocean means protecting the waters that connect us all.
