Axess Africa is proud to celebrate our Namibian team member, Judy Langenhoven.

Judy serves as a QA Manager in the AIM department, where she consistently sets a high standard of excellence. Beyond her contributions to offshore projects and scopes, she is a passionate competitive angler.

Judy is a remarkable example of resilience and determination. During Namibia’s 2025 interclub fishing series, comprising of five national events, she earned both Top Lady 2025 and Most Fish – Lady 2025. Even more impressively, she achieved this while pregnant, adapting her approach to fish safely from the shore.

Inspired by her brother, Judy developed her skills through dedication and a strong commitment to sustainable fishing. Her journey has also extended to the global stage, where she holds a ladies’ world record for a Giant African threadfin caught in Angola.

She remains passionate about mentoring other women, encouraging them with her belief: “Never doubt yourself, just give it a try.”

We are proud to have Judy as part of the Axess Africa team and celebrate her outstanding achievements.

Cape Town Cycle Tour Meet Axess Africa!

Axess Africa proudly had 10 team members participate in the Cape Town Cycle Tour, with three riders completing the 42km route and seven taking on the full 109km challenge.

This initiative was driven by our Vice President, Alex Owen, who encouraged many staff members to take part and entrusted Michael Roditis with leading and managing the group. Preparation for the event took months of commitment, with early Saturday morning training rides becoming a regular routine. Beyond building physical endurance, the journey strengthened team relationships by creating opportunities for shared learning, mutual support, and plenty of memorable (and laughable) moments along the way.

The team included Alex Owen, Terri-Leigh Stopford, Solomon Boy, Jaco Mouton, Devin Correia, Luke Clark, Raymond Dewa, Renaldo Kryns, Christiaan Enslin, and Michael Roditis.

Michael also celebrated a personal milestone by completing his 10th Cycle Tour with Axess. As he shared, “Remember, it’s not a race. Take the time to slow down, look around, and enjoy the beauty of the ride.”
